As of March of 2009, Jonathon Bledsoe resigned his position as a Deputy Constable to further his career in law enforcement. Jonathon is now a US Federal Agent with in the Federal Park Service. I wanted to keep him on my page, because he still is a valuable member of the Law Enforcement Family and valuable resource to us.
I am deputy Jonathon Bledsoe. I am an active member of my community. I joined Gott Volunteer Fire Department in 1998. In 2001 I joined the Smiths Grove Fire Department where I am an active member. Starting in 2003 I joined the Kentucky Air National Guard where I am still a member today. I graduated Air Force Basic Training in 2003 to go on to the Department of Defense Fire Academy, graduating in the top three, in May 2004. Later that year was offered a position at the Air national Guard Base in Louisville, Ky. Where I reside to this day as a civilian military firefighter. I am also a IFSAC HAZMAT Technician, Ky State Fire Instructor, and a Confined Space Rescue Technician.
In November 2006 Constable Elect Wilson asked me serve as his Deputy. I was excited to take him up on the offer and immediately began training with other Officers in the area by doing ride-a-longs. In January Judge Executive Buchanon swore us in and our official duty started. So far I have learned a tremendous amount of Law Enforcement knowledge thanks to helpful Officers from other agencies. I have also attended several firearms trainings and made some close friends in the process.
I would like to thank Constable Steven Wilson for this opportunity. I also want to thank the community for all the support. I am proudly serving you the best way possible. I am here for you anytime day or night. Feel free to contact me for anything.
Thank You,
Deputy Jonathon Bledsoe
